Faial offers a wide variety of walking trails. Every hiker will surely find his trail!

Our Vila serves as a perfect startpoint.

Descending to 3 beaches (walks vary from 1h to 2h30) passing through pastures and land roads. Or ascending towards the Caldeira admiring amazing views the higher you walk.

Exploring by foot the coastline or walking inland - crossing riverbeds, always accompanied by birds singing, might cost an effort due to the hilly countryside but is certainly doable for every type of hiker.
